We’re not just talking about the local grocery store; we prefer to pick from our own gardens (yes, we have gardens in the summer!) and buy directly from farmers and local cooperatives we trust. As a result, we are able to support our local community and offer you fresh, healthy food that will make you feel proud and inspired after eating it.

Early every morning our dedicated bakers arrive to create the delicious bakery treats available daily in our shop. Yup. That’s right, everything on our bakery tree is made by hand in our kitchen from high quality baking products, even the cookie dough! We like to have fun in the bakery. We love to create unique flavors that tantalize the taste buds and encourage customers to try something new.

It’s really a “create as we go” process, often starting with just one ingredient that sparks our imagination. For example, we may want to use anise in a scone one morning. But what goes well with anise? Pretty soon, apricot anise scones are baking in the oven, along with fresh baked cinnamon rolls, chocolate lavender scones, and a hearty honey buckwheat muffin.
